On Sending Test Scores

Hopefully, this video will help students understand the importance of submitting the SAT and/or ACT and the timing behind the transaction. It is important to note that when students submit their score(s) that students have to officially request standardized testing through the respected agency (I.E., CollegeBoard or ACT). If a student is uncertain when or how to submit scores, please connect with Williams Educational Consultants.


If your student requires testing, then follow the suggested outline below:


Deadline of October 15th - Submit scores by September 23rd.

*If you are taking the October tests, then you might have to submit the score blindly to all colleges so that the institution receives the score in time.


Deadline of November 1st - Submit scores by October 7th.

Deadline of November 15th - Submit scores by October 21st.

Deadline of December 1st - Submit scores by November 4th.

*All Scores should be submitted to colleges if required by December 1st for scholarships and applications.

How fast can SAT scores be sent?

Rush reports are sent within 1–4 business days (not counting holidays and weekends). Rush reports are only available for scores that have already been released. Rush reports can't be changed or canceled. Check with the institutions you're sending scores to—we can't guarantee that they'll process your scores quickly.

Standard: Your scores will be delivered to your designated score recipient in 7–14 days. The exact number of days depends on when you submit your request and the location of your score recipient. The fee is $15 per report. Rush: Your scores will be delivered to your designated score recipient in 5–9 days.

ACT Customer Support cannot provide your scores by phone, email, chat, or fax.

  • Multiple-choice scores are normally available two weeks after each national test date, but it can sometimes take up to eight weeks.

  • Writing scores are normally available about two weeks after your multiple-choice scores.

Student report

Your online ACT web account takes about 2–8 weeks after the test date to send to colleges.
