Wendy Williams, founder and owner of Williams Educational Consultants, believes that conversations are the catalyst for change. Therefore, working closely with the entire family unit, teachers, counselors, and other mentors is essential to offer appropriate recommendations. Information gathered through various meetings, student and parent questionnaires, teacher recommendations, psycho-educational evaluations, and understanding of academic performances and future goals allow Mrs. Williams to provide the best guidance possible. In addition, depending on age appropriateness, students may take personality assessments, learning style inventories, career assessments, and standardized mock tests, like SSAT, SAT, or ACT.

As a wife and mother of three boys, Wendy Williams has helped over 1700 students, visited 450 college campuses, and has a strong counseling background. Wendy Williams is inspired to help students find their balance. Assisting students to choose wisely is possible because Mrs. Williams looks at critical elements in an educational setting, like major options, student population, academic success, student retention, financial costs, and more. She believes it is essential to begin the admissions process by learning who the student is outside the classroom and connecting interests and passions with classroom elements to create success. She believes that the world is ultimately our classroom and relationships that one forms, opportunities that one seeks, and interests that one pursues can lead to success in many ways. Her goal is to help students discover their future, plan, and aim for success in an organized and enjoyable process. Your student will complete her program with excitement and a sense of direction. Her counseling background brings calmness and patience to those who are anxious and unsure of their educational future. She is passionate about her career and enjoys launching her students into a world that needs them.

Certified MBT & Strong Practitioner
College Counselor

Carol Molino Print-2 (1).jpeg

Carol Molino became inspired by the college admissions process when her oldest daughter worked through the Williams Educational Consultants program. She now has three college graduates (and one master's graduate), and each undertaking was distinctive due to her children's varied desired areas of study, extracurricular interests, and personalities. Carol believes that "one-size-does-NOT-fit-all" when it comes to college counseling. With Carol's one-on-one influence, she helps students effectively share what is sophisticated about each student's background, revealing the value they can provide to prospective universities and ultimately finding their university match. She knows that if the process is done properly, it can also be an exceptional opportunity for students to grow in self-awareness and self-confidence.

Her strong business background and professionalism have included Underwriting and Training Coordinator for a large reinsurance corporation and Membership Director for a Chicago women's mentoring and networking organization. Education has been a top priority for Carol throughout her life, and the desire to give back to the educational system and students is instinctive. She has built upon her business skills, professionalism, and compassion for helping students to become a certified Independent Educational Consultant. She has volunteered as a college advisor for Chicago students, PTA President at multiple levels, performed grant work for a foundation that served 13,000 students, and served on multiple scholarship committees. Carol also received the 2017 All-Star Volunteer Award for her work.

Carol resides in Chicago. She has a BSBA in marketing and insurance and a Certificate in College Counseling. She is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. In her free time, Carol enjoys travel (particularly to see her three children!), spending time with her husband and friends, golf, cooking, volunteering, and the outdoors.
