Summer is finally over! A new season is here, and I hope it brings you fresh air and warm hearts. Fall is my favorite time of the year, even though I was born on a winter's day! Before we praise tomorrow, I hope you will revel in the festivities of Labor Day, the first Monday of every September. This is a tradition that dates back all the way to the 1800s. Today, we should recognize the American workforce who built this country. This country is a place where dreams come true and where opportunity and freedom live. I encourage all my clients, friends, and family to take the day off, close the computer, get off your device, and breathe in the beauty surrounding you. Here are some ideas for making the most of your Labor Day:
Take a walk with your family
Go for a swim
Throw the football or baseball with your children or neighbor
Attend a picnic
Make a patriotic dinner
Harvest a garden
Plant fall shrubs
Read a book
Listen to the sounds of nature
Simply Relax
I look forward to seeing all of you this fall! Have a happy Labor Day!!
