With Miami’s application for Fall 2021 admission now available, Williams Educational Consultants wants to share some important information about their admission process for fall 2021.
Application Deadlines and Updates Miami offers Early Decision, Early Action, and Regular Decision deadlines.
The Early Decision application deadline is December 1 with a December 15 decision notification date.
The Early Action application deadline is December 1 with decision notification no later than January 15.
The Regular Decision application deadline is February 1 with decision notification no later than March 15.
Test-Optional for Fall 2021*
Most students applying for Fall 2021 will not be required to provide an ACT or SAT test score for admission or scholarship consideration. Applications without test scores will be evaluated using criteria including GPA, academic rigor, application essays, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, talent, and background, among others. *Miami has not made a decision about being test-optional beyond 2021.
Self-Reported Grades and Test Scores
First-year applicants will self report their high school courses and grades through Miami’s online Self Reported Academic Record (SRAR) service. For more information, visit SRAR FAQs.
Honors Programs
Our Miami's Honors programs areare changing this year. On the Common Application, students identify their interest in the Presidential Fellows Program, Honors College, and/or Prodesse Scholars Program and then complete a supplemental honors application via their Miami Applicant Status Page.
December 1 is the firm admission application deadline for the Presidential Fellows Program and the priority deadline for the Honors College and Prodesse Scholars Program. Those who submit their admission application by December 1 will have until December 8 to complete the honors supplement.
