Why? The MBTI can help identify how one perceives the world, make decisions, take in information, and utilizes their time. It is a powerful tool that can assess individual preferences to other people, stressful situations, complicated decision making, and organizational communities. In the realm of admissions, it can help identify the type of college, major of interests, careers, and be a tool used in the essay process. Students finding out their MBTI early on can significantly influence their educational journey and career aspirations!

The Strong Interest Inventory is the most widely used and respected assessment for career planning. More than 75% of colleges and universities for students use this assessment to help students who are struggling to decide on an academic direction. This instrument can identify specific college courses, jobs, or internships as well as extracurricular activities. The College Edition focuses on helping students find college majors and careers. The Strong describes a student's interests, work activities, potential skills, and personal values. It can also help explain preferences in work style, learning, leadership, risk-taking, and teamwork that can provide insight into both the workforce environment and the educational environment.

The 16PF is used by the counseling profession, including, Industrial Psychologists, Psychologists, and other counselors to provide occupations that would best fit the client's characteristics. The assessment is a simple questionnaire about daily, concrete situations that will help identify the tester's personality traits, and problems like anxiety, behavioral adjustment, academic, emotional, and social traits. This assessment gives a well-rounded picture of the student.

SSAT Flex Text

Williams Educational is a member of the Enrollment Management Association, which allows consultants to offer the SSAT (Secondary School Admissions Test) in a flexible testing environment. The SSAT is a standardized test used by admission officers within the AAAIS community (Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools) to assess the abilities of students seeking to enroll in an independent day school. This assessment measures the basic verbal, math, and reading skills students need for successful performance in independent schools.

SAT & ACT Standardized Testing

Williams Educational Consultants offers mock SAT and ACT Tests for students to help identify testing preferences. We work closely with ArborBridge, a national company, to provide clients with informational data on test preferences, score ranges, and more. Each standardized test is given in the full allocated time as if the student was taking it on a respected national test date.
